
Sadoski began his stage career, which was a winner of awards, as an understudy to Mark Ruffalo and Mark Rosenthal in the Off Broadway production of Kenneth Lonergan's critically reviewed play This is Our Youth at the Second Stage Theatre. It was the first of many productions for the theatre company based in New York. He has been in numerous Off-Broadway as well as Broadway productions. He has also been in various regional theatre productions. He portrayed Greg in Neil LaBute's Play Reasons to Be Beautiful at the MCC Theatre with his Newsroom co-star Alison Pill. The play was highly acclaimed Off-Broadway performance that was a huge success and sold to the max. In April 2009, the play moved to Broadway where it was awarded three Tony Award nominations: Best Actor: Sadoski; Best Actress: Marin Ireland; Best Play as well as three Drama Desk Award nominations: Best Actor Best Director Terry Kinney and Best Actor. 6. Neil LaBute credits Sadoski for his role in bringing about the critically acclaimed changes in the tone of reasons to be beautiful from his earlier plays by saying: "His own thoughtfulness and great heart allowed me to not rely on my previous work before. My plays always finish in a dark space. He helped me see different shades of the palette. I thought that was an actual thing. He played the role of Trip Wyeth, Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities. For the role, he was awarded an Obie Award as well as the Lucille Lortel Award. After a sold-out Off-Broadway show in November 2011, the play was transferred to Broadway and was named the distinction of Outstanding New Off-Broadway Performance by the Outer Critics Circle. Sadoski, Ben Stiller, Edie Failco Jennifer Jason Leigh, Alison Pill, and Alison Pill were also seen on Broadway in John Guare's House of Blue Leaves.
