Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986, in Hereford, England) is a English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style quickly propelled her to the top charts once she caught the attention of the public in 2010. She was able to accomplish this through the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has been at the top as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of popular contemporary music as well as independent hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano voice as well as her talent for writing emotional songs make her distinct. In the end, she signed a major-label contract to Polydor Records and began making preparations to release her debut album.
