Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. She is best known as the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. She co-anchored CNN's weekday morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's coverage of both the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Bolduan has worked as a Washington DC-based congressional correspondent reporting on activities of and around the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and other events in her time as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the limit on debt for the US and deliberations by the super-committee. Bolduan was a correspondent for general assignments. She has covered stories as the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision on Obamacare. Also, she covered the introduction of stimulus plans for 2009. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007. She provided feature stories and breaking news stories to nearly 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. In the past, she has been employed at NBC News MSNBC as well as WTVD-TV.
