She was quite a vocal woman who pursued her goal of becoming a professional musician. However, she didn't achieve much success initially and faced a number of obstacles before receiving her first significant break. A lot of her tracks were shelved before she was hired by 'Capitol records. The album she released as her second studio album 'One of the Boys' was to be a major success and marked a pivotal moment for her music career. The singer was now a professional singer, and hasn't stopped ever since. The album that followed, 'Teenage Dreams,' was an instant hit among music lovers and one of the best-selling albums in the history of music. Katy Perry was firmly established as a musician thanks to her record-breaking album. Perry has earned her name not only for writing songs and recording them, but as well for her charity work and charitable work, is a person with a broad range of interests. She's also an activist and promotes LGBT rights.
