Dua Lipa, an English singer-songwriter was born in London on 22 August 1995. In 2014, after working as a model and actress she signed with Warner Bros Records. She dropped her self-titled debut album in 2017. It reached third place within the U.K. albums chart and featured eight songs, including the U.K. top-ten single New Rules as well as Be the One. I.D.G.A.F. Lipa has been awarded the Brit Awards for British female solo artist as well as British breakout act in the year 2018. Her album was certified platinum across the world. Dua Lipa, was born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London on the 22nd of August, 1995. She has Bosnian heritage by her maternal grandmother. Her ancestors can also be tracked back to the Kosovo city of Peja. Both of her grandfathers were historians. She is a sister to Rina Lipa and an older brother called Gjin. Lipa's father, who was a leader and guitarist of the Kosovan group Oda has influenced her in music. The family she lived in, where Lipa's father continued playing music.
